James Reese
James Reese is a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) student at the University of Queensland, Australia. A strong advocate for inclusion in STEM, he is an alumni of the Queensland Department of Education’s STEM Girl Power Initiative and the University of Queensland’s Science Ambassador program. He continues this advocacy as a recipient of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering’s Elevate: Diversity in STEM scholarship. His writing has received awards in several competitions, including the 2024 IEUQNT Literary Competition for the poem Run Away To And From Myself, and explores themes of identity, relationships and mental health.
