Dr Craig Cormick divides his brain between fiction and non-fiction and those grey spaces in between. He is the former President of the Australian Science Communicators and author of The Science of Communicating Science. His fiction writing awards include a Queensland Premiers Literary Award for A Funny Thing Happened at 27,000 Feet… and the ACT Book of the Year Award for Unwritten Histories. In 2014 he received the Unsung Hero of Science Communications Award. He lives in Canberra, has studied around the world and believes in living safely but writing dangerously.
