Donna Mazza is a West Australian author and academic at Edith Cowan University. She is the author of Fauna, published by Allen & Unwin in 2020, which was shortlisted for Aurealis's best science fiction award in 2021 and The Albanian, published by Fremantle Press in 2007, which received the TAG Hungerford Award. Her stories, poetry and other works have been published in WesterlyThe ConversationAntipodes, Southerly, Arena and The Indian Quarterly. Donna was the recipient of the Mick Dark Flagship Fellowship for Environmental Writing at Varuna Writers Centre in 2018 and Tyrone Guthrie International Exchange in 2021.
