Flavian Mark Lupinetti is a poet and fiction writer based in New Mexico. He is also a cardiac surgeon and received his MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. His work has appeared in About Place, Barrelhouse, Bellevue Literary Review, Briar Cliff Review, Cutthroat, Sport Literate, Writers Resist, and ZYZZYVA. He has also made contributions to over 90 scientific journals. He has received first place in the Social Justice Poetry Contest, a Betsy Sholl Poetry Award and a Pushcart nomination. He published the chapbook The Pronunciation Part in 2024, which was the grand prize winner of The Poetry Box Chapbook Prize.
