Gregory Bell
Gregory Bell writes because a critical illness finally roused him to publish in 2013. He’s placed work most recently in Bacopa Literary Review, Big Bend Literary Magazine, California Quarterly, and Science Write Now (‘Disability and the Body’). He was also published in the anthology Reimagine America by Vagabond Press in 2022. He authored the hybrid poetry collection Looking for Will: My Bardic Quest with Shakespeare, published by Ion Drive in 2015, and two award-winning plays.
He's the recipient of the 2019 Kowit Poetry Prize. He also leads the Green Poets Workshop at Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center, Venice, CA. He says, ‘We are the witnesses, the Jiminy Crickets, the agents of change. Let’s go!’
