Sarah Keenihan, PhD, is a freelance science writer and editor living in Adelaide, on unceded Kaurna country. She works with clients in the university, business and media sectors across Australia to tell the stories of science with enthusiasm, accuracy and a strong narrative drive. She aims to help everyone understand what science is (and isn’t), how scientists work and what science offers in terms of solving problems – big and small – in our world. Sarah loves to write and share stories about how science meets daily life.

In addition to her technical work, Sarah has published an audio non-fiction story for Radio National titled Swimming Alone and feature articles for CityMag and the Adelaide Hills magazine. She is an avid reader of historical fiction. From 2016 to 2019, she was the Life Sciences Editor and Section Editor Science and Technology for The Conversation.
