
Dr Willo Drummond is a Sydney-based poet who writes from Dharug and Gundungurra land in the NSW Blue Mountains. She is also a researcher and teaches creative writing at Macquarie University. Her writing has been published in Australian and international journals including the Cordite Poetry Review, Mascara Literary Review, TEXT and Plumwood Mountain, and has been anthologised by Australian Poetry, Recent Work Press and Hunter Writers Centre. Willo placed second in the 2021 Tom Collins Poetry Prize and was longlisted for the 2021 Grieve Writing Awards. In 2020 she was the recipient of a Career Development Grant (poetry) from the Australia Council for the Arts. In 2023 her debut collection Moon Wrasse was published by Puncher and Wattmann and was shortlisted for the Kenneth Slessor Prize for Poetry.
