No matter how hard we try
energy cannot be created or destroyed


                 Noether’s abstract algebra
                still radiating insights to this day


Noether’s theorem states:
every differentiable symmetry has 
a corresponding conservation law 


                 her mastery incandescent but
                 no salary until she reached forty
                 equal but unequal to some


Her numerical and brilliant fingerprints 
etched into so many branches


                 Noetherian: group/induction/problem
                                  ring/module/space/scheme


The mathematics a foundation 
for the standard model of physics


                 changed the face of algebra
                 absolute beyond comparison


Laws of physics remain the same
as we move around the universe


but for Noether they bend more deeply
                as her legacy consistently increases
